Prayers for the City of Jos, Africa

Prayers Needed For the City of Jos in Africa

Mass killings are taking place in Jos due to Christianity. Though it's an awful price to pay for accepting Jesus as LORD and Saviour and living the life of a loving Christian, the bible is full of accounts of those who have lost their lives for their Christian faith. Jesus heads the list!

Never at any time did He waiver in his task of saving man from sin. He was faithful all the way to the Cross. He admonishes us to follow Him and not waiver in our loyalty to Him. He promises a life of eternal bliss where there is no aging, sickness, lack of nutritious foods to eat, a mansion prepared for us which is designed by Him. There will be no more hate, killing, starvation, high prices making living a heavy burden, no more locked doors, no more prejudice according to skin color. All will have perfect bodies, beauty, and vigor as that of a child.

Overall, Jesus wants us to realize that this world is NOT to be desired. We're to keep our eyes on the Prize (Jesus) while in this world and remain faithful till He comes. So, if persecution comes to your town, pray, asking the Holy Spirit to give you the strength to be faithful to Jesus as He was for mankind. The same Power He was given to endure to the end, that same Power is available to us and will bring us the same victory if we so choose.

Much prayer for not only the city of Jos, but to all lands across the globe who are suffering persecution. It is unfortunate that as we continue in life's journey to earth's final close, persecution will continue to spread widely across the globe and intensify. For all who presently suffer no persecution, take this time to prepare for what's to come because God says through Spirit of Prophecy, imagine the worse and you won't even be close. Realize that your trials are with you to strengthen you for the persecution to come and to rid the character of sin and bad habits.

Blessings to us all as we make the right choice to walk with God and serve Him. It's a wonderful way of saying "Thank You, LORD Jesus, for all You've done for me and for being a Perfect living Example!"

Soliciting Prayers for America's Government Officials on Election Day

November 6th -- United States Elections

Voice of Zion International Ministries is not a political ministry. We are the "watchman on the wall" standing on Ezekiel 33:1-33. Presently, VOZI is soliciting the prayers of everyone around the world. 

Prayer No. 1

Please pray for the American voters as they make the important step of voting for the leadership of their country which takes place on November 6th.

VOZI urges all of us, prayer warriors for God, to concentrate our prayers on the successful candidates, that they will possess core Christian bible-centered values. It’s what America greatly needs when the newly elected officials are voted into power.

The Watchman!

Ezekiel 33:1-33

1 Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:

3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.

6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

10 Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?

11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.

13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.

14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;

15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.

16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

17 Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.

18 When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.

19 But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.

20 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

21 And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten.

22 Now the hand of the Lord was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.

23 Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

24 Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance.

25 Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?

26 Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour's wife: and shall ye possess the land?

27 Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

28 For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.

29 Then shall they know that I am the Lord, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.

30 Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the Lord.

31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

32 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

33 And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We ask that you take heed to God's warning in Ezekiel for the day of the LORD is soon to come, sooner than you think. Unnatural disasters are taking place all around the world, killing thousands of people; many who did not give their lives to Christ. The Unadulterated Word says: "While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation." Hebrews 3:15

VICTORY! Souls Converted!

Voice of Zion International Ministries recently went on a missionary trip to 2 separate villages. The first one suffered a devastating event that meant a great loss of lives. The villagers were discouraged beyond words. Their heavy spirit was keenly felt.

Church membership was very low--30 members out of 1,000 residents. All night prayer vigil and church service was held. All 1,000 showed up and 200 gave their lives to Christ! Praise God! The immediate result was their spirit. All felt joy again knowing that Jesus was still there for them even through their crippling grief. When my traveling brethren and I left the village to head to the second one, the villagers were of a joyful spirit. The LORD is so good!

Upon our second location, this village was in very bad shape as they perform rituals that is most ungodly. Odd things took place in that village. Satan was the one behind weird and heathenish happenings. I was asked by one of the villagers to officiate at a funeral of lady who died hours prior. This was a miracle because the funeral was Christian-performed. The people accepted the manner of the service which opened the door for God to impress upon my brethren and I to hold an all night service teaching them about Jesus Christ and inviting them to give their lives to Him. Praise God, many accepted Christ during altar call.

My traveling brethren and I stayed for close to a week. All went very well. The pastor of the village had under 5 in weekly attendance in the 5 years he pastored. At our departure, 30 were added to the membership. The devil worked hard to thwart our witnessing. Two of the brothers that came with me took ill; one especially was gravely sick. Praise God, He spared the brother's life. Once we all arrived back home, the 2 brethren were taken to the clinic to gain complete health.

God is good! Travel in the rural areas was a great challenge, but, all went well. Funds and food/water lasted the trip. Through a gross lack of sleep during the entire trip which lasted 9 days, God laid hands on our bodies to see to the people's needs in both villages and hold church services and vigils for the cause of saving precious souls to the kingdom.

When is a Good Time to Praise God?

BREAKING NEWS -- RESTORATION RESTORED!

VOZI Ministries is pleased to announce that an all night crusade was held in a village to which God had sent a pastor and 4 brethren who lives hours away. Church membership was never greater than 30. As a result of the crusade, the number swelled to 1,000 in attendance! Two hundred (200) were converted! Praise God!

Chains of emotional burdens and broken spirits were healed. The villagers' hearts have been made glad again which is something they haven't experienced for some time. As a community, they endured a tragedy which is why Jesus sent the faithful pastor and 4 willing brethren, to bring hope, healing and restoration.

We praise God for the renewing of the villagers' spirits. There's nothing like peace in the heart. Better still, there's nothing better than having Jesus Christ as your LORD and Saviour. He can fix whatever is broken in our lives. Nothing is too hard for Him! He says so.

Tonight, an all night prayer vigil will be held. More miracles will be manifested as a result. VOZI asks the question . . .

Have you given your life to Christ? If not and you desire for your life to be better than it is, to want to know the real meaning of life, then say the sinner's prayer below. After acceptance of Christ in your heart, seek a church and speak with a pastor who will set you on a path of serving Christ. He dearly loves you. This is why He died for you, that you may have life everlasting.

Celebrating America's 242nd Independence!

One of the most significant architecture of our modern world is the American Statue of Liberty located at Liberty Island in New York City.

To visitors and passersby, it may mean just a neoclassic architectural piece of world class standard. But, to Native Americans and today's Americans it represents freedom from slavery of hundreds of years.

History has it that the first batch of freed slaves on it's route to the new world, which is today America, landed on the New York harbor. In commemoration of this very important event in history, the American Statue of Liberty was erected to become the symbol of hope for a people that have been under slavery for hundreds of years.

Just like the children of Israel with a mighty hand, God gathered the slaves from all over the western world out of the hands of their task masters with one declaration and brought them home to the new world, a place which they will later call home land.

Though free, America has sold their freedom to strange gods such as gods of sex, lust, drugs, teenage pregnancy, homosexuality, to mention a few. The high life is the culture, a life in the fast lane -- exotic cars, credit cards all fueled by their passion for the good life. They have become rebels and haters of God, and to this end they have been permitted to take on a reprobate mind, in that, everything good and normal has become abnormal. Homosexuality and single parenthood have taken the place of family and marriage for those who care.

Marriage has become a contract arrangement where one can marry and divorce at the snap of the finger. These strange gods, headed by Satan himself, have turned a once free people into deeper slavery and captivity.

America, the beauty of the world, the land of the free whose founding fathers built on the slogan, "in God we trust," has today become a by-word like the Israel of yesterday -- a desolate waste, removing Christ from the core values of her national life. Same has sank deeper and deeper into sin to include tax payers' money, funds abortion mills, and teenage pregnancy. All of which have become normal while promiscuity and drugs characterizes the night life. Revival and tent crusades have become forgotten.

But, I see a light rising showing that all hope is not lost. I see the vision of the prophet Isiah in the Book of Isaiah in chapter 60 coming to fruition with regards to America. All hope is not lost as a people. As one nation under God, we can retrace our steps, we can rend our hearts and cry out to God. The bible says, "if My people that are called by My name will humble themselves and pray, I will hear from heaven and I will heal their land.

Dearly beloved, we can get it right. All we need to do is repent and believe the gospel by simply cleaning up our lives and make a conscious decision to live for Christ.

Listen, my beloved Americans, Nineveh in the bible, was doomed for destruction just like the cities of  Sodom and Gomorrah. But, when the prophet Jonah called them to repentance, they did it whole heartedly and their souls and their nation were saved.

Dearly beloved, the Statue of Liberty is only a historic monument. Actual freedom is a choice. Let us make that choice today and leave every bondage and captivity behind. I tell you my brothers and sisters, it doesn't matter how far deep you have gone, it doesn't matter how messed up your life has become, you can make it right. If I make it right and you make it right, then we will be reborn to be truly a free America.

America cannot change until you and I make that conscious decision to live right for Christ, and I tell you only real men and women can make America truly free. A real man or woman is that man or woman living for Christ.

Dearly beloved, if you are not living for Christ, then I plead with you to go down on your knees right now and say the sinner's prayer below and I assure you we can see the America of our dreams again. Amen.
